It seems the rumors about a “god mode” in Windows 7 were true! It’s pretty easy to unlock and should work on just about any version of Windows 7,
- On your desktop create a new folder
- Name the folder “GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”
If done correctly the folder should automatically rename itself to “God Mode”. Don’t get too excited, God Mode doesn’t unlock any special Windows 7 functionality but simply serves as a “compendium” of sorts allowing you to access shortcuts to various Windows 7 functionality. It goes without saying, if you don’t know what you’re doing you might not want to fool around.
Apparently, a similar trick existed in Windows Vista.
Oh, and Happy New Year!

Today, I turned 19! Birthdays have really changed in meaning for me over the years, a few years back it would be an exciting time, one that would make you lose sleep in anticipation for the big day. Recently, I just don’t have the same “vibe” towards it, while I’m still happy to be a year older, it’s not like it used to be. I’m sure I’m not alone on this one either, at times it seems sad to see another year pass by. Perhaps I simply feel I didn’t do enough to justify that year of my life?
Didn’t do much to mark the event other then a small family thing, kept relatively quite about it since I’m a pretty simple guy who doesn’t need much in life. The evolution of the birthday greeting is also pretty interesting, before phone calls, emails, MSN conversations, etc would be the preferred method used by many, today, it seems to be largely done by Facebook. This is something I’ve noticed for quite a while, not just regarding myself but other people as well, it’s interesting to see how people adapt to technology for such things.
That’s all for now, will probably post more about other stuff later on.
If you told someone 10 years ago that one day pre-recorded “radio” distributed via the internet would become a popular medium for distribution they would probably laugh. If you want to learn more about podcasts the Wikipedia entry is pretty up to date. Starting a podcast and building a community can be pretty appealing, as the market for podcasts increase some might say the barrier of entry will as well. This may be true to some extent but starting your own podcast for cheap or even free is possible, hopefully this guide will help.

After a long hiatus I am going to pick up blogging again, I am also happy to announce my next major development project. I will be assisting with the release of OneCMS 2.6, a gaming CMS that thanks to its modular design is capable of doing just about anything. Development is already underway with various features being planned and in the process of being implemented. I can’t talk much about them know although I will say a majority of the bugs have been fixed, security added, and the admin file is in the process of being split up.
We hope to get all the features implemented if possible, some might be held off for future OneCMS release if demand returns.
We currently don’t have a release date although we are aiming for Fall 2009 to early 2010, a major advertising push is planned to let people know of the return of OneCMS closer to launch. I will post more when we have something to announced.
I figure I should use my knowledge to help others looking for Indian war records. This guide will work for all army personnel up until Indian Independence, not sure where you would go for records after that.
There are two ways to go about this; the first one is a simple method with limited access. The second is more complicated but ensures access to a much larger database.
Getting in touch with the British government, more specifically the British Library. The BL records pale in comparison to those held by the Indian government of course, the files they have are not limited to a certain rank either. File sizes for the records they have range from a single piece of paper to nearly 800 pages from what I am told. There are 4 options you can use to get in touch with the British Library, I will post them in the order I believe is best.

This is how you advertise games people! This particular video shows a Wheelman promotion in Russia.
I’ve been playing a ton of Wheelman recently, I really like the game! Midway’s latest puts you in the shoes of undercover cop “Milo Burik” in Barcelona, Spain during the height of a gang war.
I highly recommend everyone pick this title up, Wheelman is available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. This trailer should really convince you how awesome the game is!
My review is also available here to further drive the point home.
My official blog is now open! I thought it would be time to do something like this just to keep in touch with family, friends, etc. If you don’t fit into any of those categories by all means feel free to stay, explore, and comment.
That Gaming Site is at its high point now, we are constantly doing things to improve the site. If you have any suggestions feel free to post them in the comments section.
WMV HD Database is really in a tough position at the moment, I don’t have very much time to be able to maintain it now a days, although I try to push out at least one post a week to show it is still updated. After my University semester is over I hope to devote more time to it and finish up the database portion.
Dog Fight Studios is officially open! We are currently hard at work on a unannounced Xbox 360 and possibly PC game. We will show it when we’re ready.
That’s all for now.
Welcome to my blog, excuse the mess as this is a work in progress.
